Karen Palmer is an independent TV and event producer, media strategist, and presentation consultant. She spent over 20 years at CBS News, CNN and MSNBC as a producer, writer and manager, covering stories including the Northridge earthquake, the Challenger explosion, the 9/11 attacks and three Presidential elections. She has won four Emmys, a Headliner Award and a Peabody Award.
 
She has produced events at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the 92nd Street Y, and the Abyssinian Baptist Church and worked with a variety of nonprofits including Human Rights Watch, the New York Women’s Foundation and the World Science Festival.
 
Palmer served as co-chair for the Board of Directors of the Maple Street School. She is a graduate of Princeton University.
